Stranger Things: Puzzle Tales is returning to Netflix with new gameplay

Netflix is introducing Stranger Things: Puzzle Tales to its platform, featuring additional games based on the show's Season 4 material. As the corporation continues its push into gaming, users will be able to play as new characters from Season 4 in this no-ads game.

In this game, players must solve riddles to defeat foes such as Demogorgons and other mystical monsters. They can acquire up to 50 different versions of the show's characters along the process. The images are described as "nostalgic 1980s Saturday morning cartoon art style" by the firm.

Stranger Things: Puzzle Tales was initially launched in 2021, and it was pulled from the App Store and Google Play Store in August after Netflix paid $72 million to purchase the game's publisher. At the time, the streaming service said that it was working on modernizing the game and bringing it exclusively to Netflix.

Users may begin downloading the upgraded game now by clicking on this link. Stranger Things: 1984 and Stranger Things 3: The Game are among the numerous Stranger Things games available.

The game also builds on Netflix's attempts to allow fans to interact with the program in a variety of ways. Earlier this year, the streaming service collaborated with Reddit to create Stranger Things-themed customized avatars and with Spotify to create tailored playlists.

Netflix's VP of gaming, Mike Verdu, stated at TechCrunch Disrupt that the business is looking into ways to enter into cloud gaming. He also stated that the streaming giant is constructing its second gaming studio in California, following the establishment of its first facility in Helsinki in August. In September, the business also introduced game handles that may be used across many exclusive titles.

While the corporation is working hard to make gaming a success, the results have been mixed. Netflix games had only 1.7 million daily users, according to an Apptopia survey released in August. The business declared 223 million subscribers at their Q3 2022 results.
